The Linnear/Goode household became the first Habitat for Humanities homeowners in 2017! This combined household has the largest house that Habitat for Humanity has built in Lawrence, KS.
The Wilson-Thomas family moved into their Habitat for Humanity right before the winter holidays in 2016. They were so excited to spend Christmas and New Years in their new home!
Since January 2015, there have been 12 graduates of the Homeownership Program! Not only did families purchase in Lawrence, but also Eudora, Baldwin City, Berryton and Tonganoxie. Every family that purchase a home also saved their money to receive the matching grant savings fund. Over the course of the last two years, the Homeownership Program has given over $33,000 in matching grant checks!
