If you are looking for an application for Homelessness Prevention or Rapid Re-Housing assistance, THIS IS NOT IT!

For Public Housing and Section 8 Housing:

The LDCHA accepts applications for housing assistance year round. Keep in mind that all housing assistance is on a waiting list based system. No emergency assistance is available.

Applying for housing assistance with the LDCHA is a quick, process. There are several steps you can take to ensure that you will be added to the waiting list as quickly as possible:

Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements listed here.

Make sure you follow all instructions listed on the application and leave nothing blank.
If a certain question is not applicable, write n/a (not available).

Provide an e-mail address you check regularly.
