The Lawrence-Douglas County
Housing Authority Resident Services Office has an opening for an Administrative
Assistant. This is a grant-supported, full-time position. Primary duties
include front office coverage and directing services to ensure quality customer
service for all residents. Applicant must have strong communication skills,
positive attitude and ability to establish effective relationships with
residents and staff. Qualifications: Applicant must hold a
Bachelors degree and/or professional experience commensurate with duties and
responsibilities. Thorough proficiency in computer software packages, including
but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must
be highly organized, self-directed, have a positive attitude and ability to
prioritize tasks in a busy and often stressful environment. Applicants must be
available to work some evenings and occasional
