The LDCHA Board of Commissioners voted to change its monthly Board
meeting start time from 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. This is in effect as of
the October 22, 2007 Board Meeting.
The LDCHA is governed by a five-member
policy making board of commissioners, three appointed by the Mayor of
Lawrence and two by the Chairman of the Douglas County Commission.
Day-to-day operations are managed by an executive director who is
responsible for the administration of seven departments: General Housing,
Program and Property Management, Senior Housing, Maintenance, Capitol
Improvements, Resident Services and Administration. The LDCHA currently
employs 35 staff.
